The Accounts Officer serves as an ambassador for the Bank and is critical to the Bank’s delivery of excellent customer service and is required to interact with and attend to customers and visitors in a cordial and professional manner whether face to face or on the phone. The successful candidate is required to have good knowledge of the Bank’s products and services in order to be able to respond to customers’ enquiries, concerns and requests.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Serving all customers in the best professional manner possible and ensure all customer needs are met.- The continual solicitation of new customers and cross selling of all services at every opportunity. - Opening new CDA, SAV and DDA and ensures that all information is input correctly. - Pulls closed deposit account files, ensuring signatures are consistent and forwards relevant copies of documents to the AMO/BIC- Assist with daily monitoring and reconciliation of GL/Accounts- Properly complies all of the day's work including new accounts, on-line banking and Debit Card maintenance, identifies Capture Forms and forward to the AMO/BIC by the end of the current business day- Assists customers with CDA withdrawals and all wire transactions; maintains all wire logs- Printing all personal and business cheques as required and ensure they are stored in a dual custody compartment at all times. - Maintaining Standing Order files and prepares all cheques in a timely manner.
