The successful candidate will carry out functions relating to Reconciliations and Fixed Assets - and undertake special projects as they arise, including but not limited to the following:CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Reconciles MasterCard GL daily. Ensures differences identified on reconciliations are researched in a timely manner (within three days).Journalizes all daily correspondent bank transactions (e.g. bank charges, interest, wires, and returned cheques). Notify Branches of outstanding items and monitor to ensure items clear in a reasonable time. Researches and notifies branches of outstanding items. Journalizes all correspondent bank transactions (e.g. bank charges, interest, wires, and returned cheques). Prepares General Journals for reconciliations as needed.Receives and ensures all B$ and Foreign Currency Cheques Stop Payment requests are processed, and letters are prepared and dispatched.
